Distance
How far is Healing Touch from Fishersville?
About 13 minutes, 8 miles. US-250 west becomes Richmond Avenue at the Staunton line, Statler Boulevard carries you to Greenville Avenue, and 838 is a quarter of a mile south of that turn.
Two routes take about the same time and arrive from opposite directions. Greenville Avenue is US-11 here — five lanes with a centre turn lane — so which side the lot lands on decides the last thirty seconds. The map is on the contact page.
Coming from the Fishersville CDP
You meet Greenville Avenue from the north and turn south, so the lot is on your right and you cross nothing.
Coming from the Augusta Health campus
Tinkling Spring Road to I-64 west for about five miles, then VA-262 and US-11 north into Greenville Avenue. The same thirteen minutes — but you arrive from the south, so the lot is on your left.
US-250 west, turn by turn
- Head west on US-250, Jefferson Highway, for about four miles.
- It becomes Richmond Avenue as you cross into Staunton.
- Turn onto Statler Boulevard, signed US-11 Truck, and follow it to Greenville Avenue.
- Turn left onto Greenville Avenue and carry on about a quarter of a mile south.
- 838 is on your right — a single-storey building with a lot in front. Kline's Dairy Bar at 906 is about 270 feet further south; if you reach it you have gone too far.

Saturday
Are you open on Saturday?
Yes — Saturday runs 8 AM – 6:30 PM, the same hours as Monday and Friday. Sunday is the one day the studio is closed, so a weekend appointment means Saturday, and Saturday is the day that books out first.
Square takes bookings at any hour of the night. Calling (540) 290-3383 during opening hours gets the same slots and a person who can say what is left.
How far ahead to book a Saturday
Three or four days ahead is comfortable. Saturdays fill from midweek outward, and the long slots go before the short ones.
If the Saturday you want is gone
Monday and Friday open at 8 AM, an hour before midweek, and run to 6:30 PM. For anyone whose week does not end on Friday evening they work like a second weekend.
| Day | Hours | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Monday | 8 AM – 6:30 PM | Opens an hour before midweek |
| Tuesday | 9 AM – 6:30 PM | Quietest mornings of the week |
| Wednesday | 9 AM – 6:30 PM | Quietest mornings of the week |
| Thursday | 9 AM – 6:30 PM | Evening slots go first |
| Friday | 8 AM – 6:30 PM | Opens an hour before midweek |
| Saturday | 8 AM – 6:30 PM | The day that books out first |
| Sunday | Closed | Book Saturday or Monday instead |
Early Starts
What is the earliest appointment?
8 AM on Monday, Friday and Saturday; 9 AM Tuesday through Thursday. The three early days exist because a fair number of guests are finishing work when everyone else is starting.
NCCIH puts the target at 7 to 8 hours of sleep a night and names winding down before bed as part of getting there. For anyone whose bedtime is 9 in the morning, that argues for the 8 AM table.
Booking an 8 AM after a night shift
Say so when you book. A therapist who knows you have been up since the evening before keeps the room dark and the talking short. Eat something on the drive over.
What the room is set up to do
Dim, quiet, one client at a time. NCCIH's account of the relaxation response names the four things that move when a person properly unwinds — heart rate, blood pressure, oxygen consumption and stress-hormone levels.
After A Shift
What do people book after a shift?
The 60 minute custom massage, more than anything else on the menu. It is built in the first five minutes of conversation — pressure, focus areas, technique — so the shoulder that carried a lanyard for twelve hours gets the time.
Fishersville grew 29 percent between 2010 and 2020, from 7,462 people to 9,629. Much of it works at Augusta Health, the region's largest private employer; the rest at Wilson Memorial, the Wilson Workforce and Rehabilitation Center, or Augusta Expo off I-64 exit 91.
An hour on the table is comfort and general wellness, not a medical appointment. NCCIH's read on safety is that the risk of harmful effects from massage appears to be low, and that it carries few risks when a trained practitioner does the work.
- Twelve hours on your feet — the 60 minute hour, or 90 minutes if the low back is asking too
- A back that has been talking for a month — deep tissue, slower and firmer
- A shift that ended cold — hot stone, which carries warmth further than hands alone
- Hips that have not moved since the drive over — Thai combination, assisted stretching on the table
| If you have | Book | What it holds |
|---|---|---|
| 45 minutes | Custom massage | One region worked properly — neck and shoulders, or the low back |
| 60 minutes | Custom or deep tissue | A focus area plus a full-body pass |
| 90 minutes | Custom or deep tissue | Two areas without hurrying either of them |
| 2 hours | Custom massage | Unhurried full body, heated stones included at this length |
Parking
Where do I park?
In the lot at the door. 838 Greenville Avenue is a single-storey building set back from the road, with asphalt in front running to about six times its own footprint — no circling, no meter.
Kline's Dairy Bar at 906 is a short walk south. Hours and the map are on the contact page; the menu and prices sit in one place.
Finding the right door
Two tenants share the building with separate entrances, so read the sign before you pull the handle. Arrive a few minutes early on a first visit; there is a short health form to fill in.
Saturday runs 8 in the morning to 6:30 at night, and it is the first day of the week to fill.

Massage therapy is a licensed profession in Virginia. The Virginia Board of Nursing issues the Licensed Massage Therapist credential, and § 54.1-3029 of the Code of Virginia requires an applicant to be at least 18 and to have completed a massage therapy program of at least 500 hours, then to pass the Federation of State Massage Therapy Boards licensing examination or another the Board accepts. To renew every two years, 18VAC90-50-75 asks a therapist either to hold current NCBTMB certification or to complete 24 hours of continuing education including an hour of professional ethics. Any Virginia licence can be checked, free, on the Department of Health Professions lookup. Ask us who is working on the day you book, and check the licence yourself.
Sessions at Healing Touch Body Work are offered for relaxation and general wellness. They do not diagnose, treat or replace medical care. If you are pregnant, managing a health condition, or dealing with pain that is new, severe or getting worse, talk with your physician first — the two work well together.

Before You Book
Massage Near Fishersville, VA: questions we get asked
Are you open on Saturdays near Fishersville?
Yes. Saturday is 8 AM to 6:30 PM at 838 Greenville Avenue in Staunton, about 13 minutes west of Fishersville — the same hours as Monday and Friday. Sunday is closed. Saturday books out first, so reserve midweek.
How far is Healing Touch Body Work from Augusta Health?
About 13 minutes. From Lifecore Drive it is Tinkling Spring Road to I-64 west for roughly five miles, then VA-262 and US-11 north into Greenville Avenue. That approach comes up from the south, so the parking lot is on your left.
What is the earliest morning massage appointment?
8 AM on Monday, Friday and Saturday, and 9 AM Tuesday through Thursday. Square takes bookings at any hour, so a 3 AM request for an 8 AM table is normal. Say you are coming off a night shift and the room stays dark.
How much is a massage near Fishersville?
A 60 minute custom massage is $84.80 and a 90 minute is $126; 60 minutes of deep tissue is $95. The shortest booking is 45 minutes at $73.50. Those are the online prices and include the card fee — cash is lower.
Should I take US-250 or I-64 from Fishersville?
Either — the times are close. US-250 west through Richmond Avenue and Statler Boulevard is simpler and puts the lot on your right. I-64 west to VA-262 and US-11 north suits the Augusta Health end of town and arrives from the south, lot on your left.
Can I book a massage the same day?
Often, on a weekday. Saturday is the exception, because it fills from midweek outward. Call or text (540) 290-3383 during opening hours and we will tell you what is free today.
Two of us finish work at the same time — can we book together?
Yes, two ways. Couples Massage puts two tables side by side in one room, heated stones for both. Duo Massage books the same slot in two separate rooms, so one of you can have firm pressure and the other can sleep. Both are priced for two.
Do you speak anything other than English?
Sessions run in English, Chinese or Thai. If a sore shoulder is easier to explain in one of the other two, say so when you book and we will schedule you with someone who speaks it.
