Bodywork

How much is a massage in Staunton, VA?

A 45 minute session starts at $73.50 and a 60 minute session at $84.80. Nine massage styles are priced below, all of them at 838 Greenville Avenue, and all of them built around what you say in the first five minutes on the table.

Length moves the price further than the name does: a 60 minute Swedish and a 60 minute custom cost the same, and deep tissue is the most expensive hour on the massage list at $95, because the strokes are slower and stay in one or two places. Heated stones are included once a custom, Swedish or deep tissue booking reaches 2 hours, and Thai, Tuina, hot stone and couples sessions carry them at every length.

The 60 minute hour, across the massage menu
Session Length Price
Custom Massage 60 min $84.80
Swedish Relaxing Massage 60 min $84.80
Deep Tissue Massage 60 min $95
Hot Stone Massage 60 min $94.80
Thai Combination Massage 60 min $94.50
Traditional Chinese Tuina 60 min $94.50
Prenatal Massage 60 min $84.88
Reflexology — Foot & Hand 60 min $84.80
Couples Massage — Same Room 60 min $178.98 for two

Two of you, one appointment, two ways to arrange it. Couples Massage puts two tables in one room with heated stones for both; Duo Massage books the same hour in two private rooms, so one of you can take firm pressure while the other falls asleep. A 60 minute couples booking is $178.98, and both are priced for the pair.

Signature Rituals

What is a healing treatment, and what does one cost?

It is the studio's word for the seven sessions on the menu that are not a plain massage, and they start at $62.80: hot stone, reflexology, the Therapeutic Bliss hour, the detox and ear candling ritual, ear candling on its own, cupping, and the Glow exfoliation body treatment.

What they have in common is warmth and a narrower target. Hot stone works smooth, heated stones along the back and shoulders with organic coconut oil. Reflexology stays at the feet and hands. Cupping leaves round marks that fade over a few days, so tell us before the session if there is a wedding on Saturday and the cups stay off anything a dress will show. Hot stone and Therapeutic Bliss carry the heated stones in the price, and reflexology adds them free on any two-person booking.

All seven are offered for comfort, relaxation and general wellness. The detox ritual is the one with four lengths, from 50 minutes to 2 hours 20, and each length adds a stage instead of stretching the one before it.

Esthetics

How much is a facial, a lash set or a wax in Staunton?

Facials run from $78.75 for the half-hour Plain Jane to $189 for diamond microdermabrasion. A full set of traditional lash extensions starts at $159, brow services at $42, and facial waxing at $15.75. All of it is done by Stacey P., the studio's licensed esthetician, in a private room.

Skin and massage book into the same visit, so a facial and an hour on the table can be one trip up Greenville Avenue. Lash fills are booked by style and come round every two to three weeks; the UV-cured sets hold better through a Virginia August, because the adhesive sets under light instead of in humid air. One row on the waxing list reads "Call for price" — the studio has not set a rate for the full arms wax, so ring and ask before you book it.

"Stacey is a Licensed Esthetician offering customized facials, waxing, lash extensions, lash lifts and tints, brow shaping, tinting, and lamination. She provides personalized, detail-focused care in a comfortable and relaxing environment."

Upgrades

Can I add hot stones or cupping to a massage I have already booked?

Most of them, yes — an add-on attaches to a booked session and is never a booking on its own. Prices start at $10.50, and they are chosen per person, so on a couples or duo appointment one of you can take cupping across the upper back while the other takes essential oils and a hot towel wrap.

Four of them come with a rule attached:

  • The reflexology add-on has to be booked alongside a massage. To have foot and hand work on its own, book the Reflexology session in the rituals above.
  • Exfoliation at add-on pricing needs a massage of 60 minutes or longer. It is the cheaper way in: the back scrub is $31.20 inside an hour-long session against $62.80 booked as the standalone Glow treatment.
  • Hot towel wraps happen inside the time you have already booked. They do not extend the appointment.
  • The Himalayan salt stone upgrade takes no extra session time either — it changes what the hour uses.

Prepaid & Seasonal

Is a prepaid package cheaper than booking the sessions one at a time?

Yes. Six prepaid 60 minute sessions are $520; the same six booked one at a time, each carrying the hot stone therapy and the essential-oil treatment a package includes, come to $638.16. The 60 minute and 2 hour packages hold for a year from purchase; the 75 and 90 minute tiers do not publish a term, so ask when you buy one.

The Wellness Package is the shorter commitment: three 60 minute massages with one free add-on each visit — hot stone feet, an essential-oil upgrade, cupping or gua sha — and a fourth add-on free if all three are used inside two months.

Which seasonal offer is running right now?

Ask when you call. Seasonal offers rotate through the year, the two below have both run recently, and neither of them runs every month. The packages above are available whatever the season. Say the offer's name when you book, or leave it in the appointment note, and we will tell you whether it is on this week.

Can I buy this as a gift instead?

Yes, and it is the one thing here you can hand over the same evening. Square e-gift cards arrive by email within minutes, carry no expiry date, and spend on anything on this menu — a single hour, a facial, a package, an add-on.

Sources & Credentials

Reading on the traditional techniques on our menu: NCCIH — Traditional Chinese Medicine NCCIH — Cupping NCCIH — Mind and Body Practices NCCIH — 6 Things To Know About Massage Therapy

Massage therapy is a licensed profession in Virginia. The Virginia Board of Nursing issues the Licensed Massage Therapist credential, and § 54.1-3029 of the Code of Virginia requires an applicant to be at least 18 and to have completed a massage therapy program of at least 500 hours, then to pass the Federation of State Massage Therapy Boards licensing examination or another the Board accepts. To renew every two years, 18VAC90-50-75 asks a therapist either to hold current NCBTMB certification or to complete 24 hours of continuing education including an hour of professional ethics. Any Virginia licence can be checked, free, on the Department of Health Professions lookup. Ask us who is working on the day you book, and check the licence yourself.

Before You Book

What else do people ask about the menu?

Which massage should I book if I have never been here before?

Custom Massage. It is built around what you say in the first five minutes and can hold Swedish-style flow, deeper work on one tight area, or a few minutes of assisted stretching. A 45-minute session starts at $73.50, and the 60-minute version is the one most people book.

Why are the prices not round numbers?

The prices on this page are what Square charges at checkout, which includes the card processing fee. Paying cash is a little less. We publish the higher number so nobody is surprised at the till — call (540) 290-3383 if you want the cash price for a specific service.

What is the difference between Couples Massage and Duo Massage?

Couples Massage puts two tables in one room so you are side by side, and includes heated stones for both guests. Duo Massage books the same time slot in two separate rooms, so each person gets a session built around their own pressure preference in private. Both are priced for two people.

Can I add cupping or hot stones to any session?

Most of them, yes. Hot stone, essential oils, cupping, gua sha, scalp gua sha, Thai stretching and dry brushing all attach to a booked massage. Two have rules: the reflexology add-on must be booked alongside a massage and cannot stand alone, and exfoliation needs a session of 60 minutes or longer.

Do you offer facials and lash services as well as massage?

Yes. A licensed esthetician works alongside the bodywork team and offers facials, lash lifts and tints, traditional and UV lash extensions, brow waxing, tinting and lamination, and facial and body waxing. Massage and skin appointments can be booked into the same visit.

Do you sell gift cards?

Yes — e-gift cards are delivered by email within minutes and have no expiry date. They can be spent on any service or add-on on this menu.
